it's such a horrible feeling.. hugging someone goodbye.
the possibility of never seeing someone again.
or the knowledge that things will change from now until then.
even the dreams of what could have been.
and the regrets of things unsaid back when.
it is all felt in one little moment.
when you and i do not want to let go.
when you and i do not want to see the end.
when all we can do is hug and whisper uncertainly, 'goodbye friend'.
