finding peace in the silence.

My actual "summer vacation" began yesterday. It has been absolutely glorious simply sitting and doing nothing, basking in simplicity and finding myself refreshed.

This summer has been a whirlwind of adventure, adventure I never expected and feel so honored to have been a part of...  but I am also grateful to have these last few weeks completely free..

Today I picked up Eat, Pray, Love again... It is definitely my favorite book this summer, and quite honestly probably the only book I will end up finishing before going back to school. I love it. Every time I read a few pages, something new and completely relevant to my life jumps off the pages and into my heart. 

Todays quote:: "The resting place of the mind is the heart... the only place the mind will ever find peace is inside the silence of the heart. That's where you need to go."

I'm finding myself running back to the silence of my heart...
