come, My Beloved, come.

in the midst of heartache, oh God.
in the midst, in the midst of brokenness oh Lord.

i look up, i look up oh Lord.
and i see in the heavens oh Lord.
i see your door standing wide open. wide open.

and i hear your voice. it sounds like a trumpet.
and you're calling out to me:

child come up here. beloved come up here
come up here and hear my voice.
come up here and see what i want to do.

come my beloved come.

how many times does God call us in the midst of our brokenness to come and be with him? how many times does he say:: come Beloved, come and be with me. let me hold you. let me show you all the things I am going to do...

not the possibility of hope, but true. real. absolute hope.

let me show you what i'm going to do.
but first, let me take your pain, let me hold you.
beloved. come.

let me show you.
let me work through the darkness that surrounds you.
let me heal your wounds.
let me restore.
let me create something new.
beloved. come.

[i think it is an absolutely beautiful picture of the character of our God]

do you hear his voice? do you hear him calling you?
come, My Beloved, come.
