dear Ezekiel,

there are a million things i wish to share on this singe sheet of paper.

i wish to send you my love.
i wish to send you my hugs.
i wish to send you my words of encouragement.
i wish to send you silly faces to make you smile.
i wish to send you pictures and memories of us together.

but most of all, i wish to send myself, so i can be right by your side through all of this.

you are often on my mind, even though miles and miles separate us.
mostly because you are closer to my heart than many other people, for many reasons.

you are an inspiration to me.
you have healed my heart just by being in my life.
you have cheered me up on the worst of days.
you have encouraged me more than you could ever know.

i moved to omaha, after losing a boy very close to my heart.
but i met you, and in many ways you have filled that empty spot in my life.
